Project Description and Background
Trucchi's Supermarkets, the family owned chain of supermarkets in southeastern Massachusetts, has grown to a chain of several supermarkets over its eighty year history. Flagship has been instrumental in setting up a program of repair, life-extending maintenance and the timely replacement of the commercial roofing at each of these retail locations.

Maintenance of a commercial roofing system is essential to uninterrupted Trucchi store operations. Water, when it is able to penetrate a roofing system, can cause damage over time. Small roofing system defects can turn into major water problems if not caught in time. The National Roofing Contractors Association estimates that emergency repairs can cost three times that of a preventive maintenance program over the life of a commercial roofing system.

At Trucchis, as a commercial roofing system reaches the end of its useful life, Flagship has a plan in place and an approved budget to remove it and the underlying insulation and replace it with a fully-adhered or mechanically-attached single-ply membrane commercial roofing system.
